Water Pressure

Springdale Water Utilities (SWU) has completed improvements to its water system to increase capacity, improve reliability, and support future growth. As a result, some areas may experience increased water pressure. Property owners and residents in affected areas will receive a notification letter with additional information about these changes. While no adverse effects are anticipated, SWU is offering residential plumbing inspections to determine if a pressure-reducing valve (PRV) is needed and, if one is already installed, whether it is functioning properly.

A properly functioning PRV helps protect your home’s plumbing system from excessive water pressure. Use can use an interactive map to determine if your property is within an area that may experience increased water pressure.
